Since its inception, the major features
of ISPEN's activities have been:
Six annual conferences have been conducted in
Delhi (1994),Mumbai (Bombay) (1996), Chennai (Madras) (1997), Hyderabad (1998),
Pune (1999) and New Delhi (2000).
Several 1-2 day workshops, all over India,
notably at Chennai, Thrissur (Kerala), Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram

The objectives of ISPEN
are :
To promote awareness
of nutrition amongst medical and allied medical professionals.
To support research.
To advise educational and governmental
authorities in training, certification & licensing .
To assess nutritional products.
