ISPEN membership includes physicians, pharmacists,
nutritionists/dietitians, and nurses the one hand and the industry on the other. The
membership of the industry is encouraged in order to emphasize the industries'
commitment
to further the cause of nutritional support in India and does not imply any preferential
use of a specific product.
With a current life membership to the parent
body of over 300, ISPEN is well set to expand, especially with the inception of its
branches / chapters at Chennai, Pune, Delhi and Ahmedabad. Student / annual members are
encouraged at the branch / chapter level only.
Life membership fees which are totally
remitted to the parent body are:
Physicians - Rs. 1500/-
Allied medical/health professionals -
Rs.750/-
Corporate/company members - Rs.50,000/- one
time enrollment fee plus Rs. 1500/- annually.
Foreign Members:
Physicians
US$ - 200
Non Physicians US$ - 100
Student/annual membership fees are fixed at
the discretion of the branch/chapter.
